Music Fund workshops continue

The news of the workshops of Music Fund in Ramallah the last days is very good indeed. Today was the 3rd day of the lutherie workshops ‘piano’ and ‘string instruments’ at Al Kamandjati in Ramallah. Here are some pictures: Eyad (violin and piano student at Al Kamandjati) has been assisting Bashar (pianist of Nablus, sent by the organisation Nablus the Culture in the reparation of the pedals of the Gaveau piano at the Al Kamandjati centre. In the afternoon they left the centre together with their teacher Aurele Hardyto tune the piano of the accordeon teacher in Ramallah. mime_attachment_4 Ahmad, Misbah and Youssef (students from the double bass class), Walid (trumpet student and oud teacher in the refugee camp of Al Amari), Samer (oud teacher) assist and observe the reparation of the cellos of Nadine and Mohammed (2 cello students of the centre), looked upon by Bettina (cello teacher of the Conservatory) and Gabi (director of the choirs of Jerusalem). mime_attachment_5 mime_attachment_8 mime_attachment The two instrument repair teachers of Music Fund are Aurèle Hardy and Gert Schrijvers.
